Peter Wren

Worshipful Master, 2025

Initiated in December 2011, into Lodge of Construction, Nutfield, Surrey Province. When I moved to Saint Leonards I looked for a lodge locally and found Rose of England, pleased to find its meetings were on Saturdays.
I enjoy lodge meetings and the camaraderie. The main thing I like is the charity aspect of Masonry.

Dan Giles

Senior Warden, 2025

Freemasonry has been a part of my entire life. My grandfather and my older brothers were Masons and I eventually joined in 2015, in the lodge my father was in. The main appeal for joining was not my family, but knowing the incredible work it does and the money raised for charity. Since joining it is one of the best experiences I could have asked for. I am very lucky to be part of a lodge in which I have long term friends, but also new ones that I am lucky to call brothers.

Hello, I'm Tom Growns! My journey into Masonry began with conversations with two close friends who are Masons. Their enthusiasm led to an invitation that changed my life. What got me hooked? Our impactful charitable work and the incredible community at the lodge. The friendships and diverse experiences have truly been the highlights, contributing significantly to my personal growth and confidence.

I was visiting Rose of England Lodge regularly in 2018 when it occurred to me that I was enjoying it so much that I should join, so I did! I have a great time as an experienced freemason working with the newer brethren to help and assist them get the best from their membership of the Lodge. I enjoy the social life and the new friends I have made, and spending time with supportive people.
